Workout SNAPSHOT
Sharkfit in Dahab offers structured, challenging workouts in a social, open-air setting, with classes running every day except Fridays at 6pm for about 60–75 min.
We attended the Lift class, though they also offer Calisthenics and a demanding Partner Workout that’s geared toward more advanced (crossfit) participants.
Booking is done via Instagram DM, and first-timers receive a helpful video explaining how to find the location. The open-air studio sits on the top floor of a house and is fully equipped with barbells, kettlebells, and dumbbells. The Lift class begins with a proper warm-up and delivers a full-body workout focused on different muscle groups through structured training blocks. With shared equipment, music, a guided stretch at the end, and a friendly crowd, it’s an ideal place to train and meet people if you’re staying in Dahab longer.
THE FULL SCOOP
Sharkfit in Dahab is a great option if you’re looking for structured, challenging workouts in a social, open-air setting. Classes run every day (except Fridays) at 6pm and last around 60-75min. We attended the Lift class, but they also offer Calisthenics and a Partner Workout, which is a long, endurance-style CrossFit session that is not beginner friendly.
To join a class, you need to send them a DM on Instagram to secure your spot. If it’s your first time, they’ll also send you a short video explaining how to find the location, which is very helpful. The studio itself is open-air, located on the top floor of a house, and fully equipped with barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, and everything needed for strength training.
The Lift class starts with a proper warm-up to prepare your body for heavier weights. While each session focuses on different muscle groups, it’s ultimately a full-body workout. Our session was structured into three blocks (A, B, and C). Block A included seated dumbbell Arnold presses, alternating single-arm chest presses transitioning into two-arm presses, and weighted glute bridges. Block B focused on Romanian deadlifts with a twist into rows, back squats with a pulse, and walking lunges. Block C targeted arms and core with narrow barbell bicep curls, Egyptian raises, and side bends with a dumbbell.
Equipment is shared, there’s music playing, and the atmosphere is energetic but welcoming. The class finishes with a stretch to cool down. Many people clearly know each other, making Sharkfit a great place to meet others if you’re staying in Dahab for a while and want to plug into an active community.
