Like many workout studios in Buenos Aires, the first challenge might be figuring out how to book a trial class or sign up for a membership. The good news? Pretty much all of them follow the same system: just send a quick WhatsApp message letting them know you’re interested in a drop-in or want more info on memberships. They’ll send you the latest pricing and help set up an account for their app, where you can manage bookings. Class reservations open one hour before each session, so it’s easy to be spontaneous without worrying about missing a spot.
We’ve only visited the Palermo location, which offers both HIIT and Boxing classes. Other studios may have additional options to explore. In Palermo, HIIT classes run Monday to Friday, every hour from 7am to 9pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 3pm with a few exceptions: Boxing replaces HIIT at 8 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, 6 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 11 am on Saturdays. The team is great about sharing the updated schedule via WhatsApp, and you can always check it in the app as well.
When you arrive at the studio, you’ll check in at reception and head straight into the workout room. Most people show up already dressed in their workout gear, but there are changing rooms available if you need to change before class.
The workout space is dimly lit, creating a focused, energizing atmosphere. You’ll find a few cardio machines – like water rowers (surprisingly smooth), air bikes (not our favorite), and treadmills – alongside dumbbells and mats set up for each participant. Classes are kept small, typically with no more than six people.
HIIT classes vary daily depending on the instructor, so even if you attend several times a week, you won’t be repeating the same exercises. That said, you’ll likely target similar muscle groups, as each session is designed to be a full-body workout.
Classes always kick off with a quick 3–5 minute warm-up using light weights, mountain climbers, crunches, or similar movements – and sometimes you’ll dive straight into a Core Tabata after that.
The main workout format changes from class to class. It might be 2–3 rounds of six exercises, repeated for a set time or number of reps, with short breaks in between. On other days, you might follow a pyramid structure: starting with four exercises, doing the first once, the second twice, and so on – capped off with a burst of cardio. In the next round, you repeat the pyramid twice, eventually building up to four full rounds. No matter the structure, you can always count on a mix of cardio and strength work – it is a HIIT class, after all.
There’s no cool-down or stretch built into the class, so be sure to take a few minutes afterward to stretch on your own. You’ll leave sweaty and energized – and if you’re not feeling your muscles right away, you definitely will the next day.
