Bigg is a workout format for everyone who prefers following a structured plan but still wants expert supervision. While you train alongside others in the same time slot, your workout is tailored to your personal goals and progress.
If you’d like to try a class at one of the BIGG studios in Buenos Aires, the easiest way is to send a WhatsApp message to the specific location where you want to train. The team will walk you through how everything works, help you select a time slot, and create your account.
Once they’ve made your account, they’ll ask you to download their app and log in. There, you’ll choose your training objective – whether that’s losing weight, building muscle, increasing strength, or another goal – and you can fine-tune it to be as specific as you like.
Before your first class, the team will introduce you to your instructor via WhatsApp. The instructor will check in to ask about any injuries and confirm your overall training goals. When you arrive at the class, they’ll be there to guide you and provide support every step of the way.
Your class typically begins with a brief group warm‑up to get everyone moving together. You’ll then open the app to view the daily workout options, presented in a block format across themes like “Bigginners”, “Midline”, or “Bodybuilding” based on your goals and fitness level. In each class you’ll have to choose and complete 4 blocks, each around 10 minutes long.
Each block is a self‑contained mini routine, with movements preset specifically for that block. While the app displays the name of each exercise, beginners or anyone unfamiliar with the terms can tap to watch a demo video for each movement – making it easy and clear to follow, even if the names don’t ring a bell.
An example of a lower body block could look like this:
- 6/6 Goblet Bulgarian Squats (6 repetitions per leg)
- 5/5 Single leg squat to Box
- 4/4 Lunges
- 5 Box jumps
- 30sec. machine
You’d have to finish 4 rounds of those within 10 minutes.
The instructor actively observes and corrects your form throughout the session, ensuring you maintain proper technique as you progress through your chosen routine. They also manage the workout timer, synchronizing the pace for everyone in the class and signaling when it’s time to transition to the next block – keeping the group moving together smoothly.
While we’ve only visited the Barrio Norte location, the experience reflects the same core concept at every BIGG studio: a workout built on structure and consistency, updated daily to keep things fresh and engaging, yet offering flexibility within your individual routine.
