With only four machines, the instructor offers personalized guidance, adjusting resistance and incorporating props for variety. It’s a low-impact workout that’s gentle on the joints, ideal for rehabilitation, stress relief, and leaving you feeling taller, more balanced, and aligned.

This Reformer Pilates class in Palermo Hollywood is ideal for beginners and anyone seeking to switch up their fitness routine by improving their posture and flexibility, while strengthening muscles. 

Classes run Monday to Friday, mornings from 8 AM to 12 PM, and evenings from 5 PM to 8 PM. Simply WhatsApp to schedule your first session and receive the monthly timetable. If you have grip socks, bring them along – otherwise, regular socks are fine too. Arrive five minutes early, as everyone will gather at the building entrance and head up together to the studio, which is located inside an apartment.

There are only 4 reformer machines in the studio which allows for more detailed and hands-on attention by the instructor. Expect to move through a series of slow and controlled movements which are easy on the joints and will help strengthen your core and pelvic floor muscles. This is a more traditional reformer pilates class which means you’ll be lying on the carriage for most of it and might be starting off with some reformer footwork, followed by leg circles and the pilates hundreds. Keep your spine neutral, engage your abs, and focus on alignment to improve posture both during and after class.

Resistance is adjusted through different springs on the carriage, and your instructor will guide you on the right level for each muscle group. Props like small weights, balls, or the box may be added, keeping each class varied. Because it’s a low-impact workout, it’s easy on the joints and suitable for injury rehabilitation, stress relief, and overall mental wellbeing. You won’t work up much of a sweat, but you will challenge your balance, lengthen and tone your muscles, and leave feeling taller and more aligned. Each class wraps up with a short stretch and cool down to help you move better throughout your day.
