Workout SNAPSHOT

Amplify’s Bootcamp in Lisbon brings high-energy 50min classes that mix treadmill intervals with floor-based strength training in a red-lit studio. You’ll rotate between two 12min cardio blocks of sprints and hill climbs on the treadmill and two 12min strength circuits using dumbbells, and bodyweight moves.

Class formats change daily – some focus on chest, back & abs or ass& abs, others on lower body or total-body training. Instructors will provide speed options for your cardio section on the treadmill, keeping workouts adaptable for all fitness levels. If you’d rather skip the treadmill, you can choose the ‘double floor’ option and focus solely on strength training.

The workout atmosphere is motivating, fueled by a high-energy playlist that keeps you pushing harder. After class, refuel with a protein shake from the Boost Bar and unwind in the studio’s beautifully designed space.

THE FULL SCOOP

Think you’re missing Barry’s Bootcamp in Lisbon? Amplify is pretty much the Portuguese version: Their red-lit studio sets the tone for 50min bootcamp classes that combine treadmill cardio with strength training on the floor.

First-timers should arrive early to sign the insurance waiver and get set up by the reception team. They’ll assign you a starting spot — either treadmill or floor — and explain the studio layout. Each station has a number, so remember yours. Once that’s done, change into your workout gear and clean indoor shoes, stash your things in the lockers, and head into the bootcamp room.

Inside, you’ll find 9 treadmills and 9 floor stations. You’ll switch between the two throughout class unless you’ve booked the “double floor” option, which skips the treadmill entirely.

If you start on the treadmill, you’ll kick off with a short warm-up before moving into intervals of sprints and hill climbs, adjusting speed and incline for about 12min. Your instructor will always provide a speed range so you can push yourself at your own level.

Next comes the floor section: 12 minutes of strength work using dumbbells. Be sure to pick the weights you’ll need in advance and keep them organized near your station, since the room can feel crowded when classes are full.

Class formats change daily — some focus on chest, back & abs, others on ass & abs, while total-body sessions alternate between upper – and lower-body emphasis. Expect movements like bench and shoulder presses for upper body, goblet squats or weighted lunges for lower body, and bicycle crunches or sit-ups to target your abs.

After that, you’ll repeat the treadmill and floor blocks (12min each) before finishing with a quick cooldown stretch.

The dark studio, mirrored walls, and high-energy playlists create a club-like vibe that keeps you motivated from start to finish. And when it’s all over, you can swing by the Boost Bar to have a protein shake (that can be pre-ordered as well) and unwind in the beautiful space.
